So here is the story about our country house...

These were the only things left hanging in our new house.

In May of this year, we happened to see our new house for sale after leaving my in-law's house.  We stopped and looked at the outside of the home and the began to fall in love with the idea of moving to the country as the smell of magnolia blossoms filled the air and the sounds of the neighbors peacocks screeched and horses snorted.

Holly and I walked around to the back of the house and joined hands and prayed to God before making our decision on what to do next...

After viewing the property for the first time on the inside we immediately signed a purchase agreement for the home and 3 months later...(after an extremely long and drawn out process with the VA) we are finally able to close with a clear/insurable title!
Here are the neighbor's horses who came to see us!

Of course, it was evident that the home had been vacant for quite some time and it turned out to actually be a VA Foreclosure that has been empty for about 4 years. Unfortunately, the a/c unit was stolen, along with the propane tank, and copper tubing.  The well was also inoperable and in need of repair and did I mention that the home was built in 1978? (I think the previous owners were using it as a time-capsule, because it really doesn't look like anything has been updated except for the garage enclosure and various themed light switch covers...lol)

So now, the fun begins!
