Good-bye Aday Home...and Hello Country Living!

This week Holly and I finally closed on our new home! This is a very bittersweet moment for me...everyone who knows me understands how much I have loved living in our wonderful 1920's home, but life is full of new and exciting chapters that are full of surprises!

Why are we moving?

Here are a few reasons that I have come up with...

1)  Location- At our new home we will be practically neighbors with my in-laws, an extremely short drive to our church, closer to my family, closer to my workplace, and IN THE COUNTRY!

2) Land- The new home has approximately 2 acres of land just waiting for a small-scale aspiring homesteader like myself to move in and begin to cultivate and build.

3) Space-We currently live in an 1,800 sq ft home and are now moving to a 2,500 sq ft home... I'm sure we could all use an extra 700 sq ft of space!

The Lord has blessed us so much this year that we are going to be able to keep The Aday Home on Louise as our first rental property.  I am sure that I will have plenty to Blog about now and will hopefully try to become much more consistent with my post.  Be looking forward to hearing about our many adventures entering into the world of landlords, rural/farm life, and renovation of a 1970's Ranch Style Home.

Good-bye Aday Home... and Hello Country Living!
