My First Aquaponic System

So...I was surfing the net the other day and stumbled upon my newly found obsession....AQUAPONICS!!  I have always enjoyed gardening (vegetables, herbs, and flowers) and have had salt and freshwater aquariums and koi ponds most of my life.  With aquaponics I am able to blend together both gardening and animal husbandry and hopefully get some nice produce out of it..... I know that there are several other aquaponic blogs out there....so I know I am not doing anything new, but I wanted to document my trials and errors and felt that this would be the best way to do it.
